The signature button in the wiki editor may look like a pen nib making a squiggly line. It will insert --~~~~, which will produce a timestamped signature with two dashes in front, which is the typical way to sign a personalized contribution on this wiki. To sign without the two dashes, just manually type four tildes: ~~~~. And to sign without a timestamp, manually type three tildes: ~~~. When you click the Save page button, the tildes will be converted to your signature.
