The way it works now, I would never have thought it was an expanding list except that you wrote to click 'show'. I thought, "'Show'? Where's that? .... Oh, fuck, it's way over there!" Any way to 'fix' that? Or perhaps to have a special one just for FAQ questions that justifies the 'show' to follow immediately after the question mark? Or better, get the question itself to be clickable and expandable? ?! [[User:Wonderist|Wonderist]] 03:35, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

<nowiki>:-)</nowiki>  Well, its current behavior probably has to do with how it commonly used.  Instead of being used in a page, it is used in an Infobox, which is fairly skinny, so seeing the "show" would be easy there.  I am not sure how to implement what you describe yet, but what you describe is currently how the "Mobile view" currently works.  But to get to it, you have to be using a web browser that indicates that it is a mobile device or click the "Mobile view" in the footer.

Hey Mr. XC, I've noticed that after I edit a page, the old stale content shows up instead of the new content I just added. I thought it might be my editing prefs, but now I don't think so. Perhaps the server or MediaWiki installation is giving the wrong cache refresh response, or something? FYI here are my current settings:

x Show preview before edit box
Show preview on first edit
x Enable section editing via [edit] links
x Enable section editing by right clicking on section titles (requires JavaScript)
x Edit pages on double click (requires JavaScript)
x Show edit toolbar (requires JavaScript)
Mark all edits minor by default
Use external editor by default (for experts only, needs special settings on your computer. More information.)
Use external diff by default (for experts only, needs special settings on your computer. More information.)
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary
Use live preview (requires JavaScript) (experimental)

Yes, I noticed this yesterday. This is a brand new install on different web server than what I am used to and on an unusual configuration that shares the URL with Drupal. The HTTP headers appear to be normal. For now, I turned off some of the wiki cache features. Lets see if that fixes this. If it happens again, try pressing Shift+F5. If that fixes it, then it is some kind of cache issue between the server and the web browser. If that does not work, try adding ?action=purge to the end of the URL. If that fixes it, then it is a wiki cache issue. Thanks. --Mrxc 22:05, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Collapsible lists

Awesome! But the 'show' link appears in extreme right justification, as opposed to right next to the list title. I was hoping to use collapsible lists to condense the FAQ pages, so that you'd only see a big list of questions, but you could click on each one to expand it to see the answer.
